From school to small-batch production

Each of the students had the chance to try their hand at working in various departments here at GENICZECH-M. They undertook assembly work, mechanical and metalworking tasks, dispatch, grinding, sandblasting, cutting, parts protection and operating a CNC milling machine. In short, a proper taste of real-world manufacturing!

We’d like to thank all the students very much for their hard work and the work they’ve done! We hope to see them again as they continue to develop their knowledge and practical skills – next year on work placements or this summer on temporary jobs.

We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our staff for the excellent support they have given to these young mechanical engineering students – for their willingness, time and patience.

And how did the students themselves rate the work placement? They all gave our work placement top marks and would recommend it to others. What they grew most fond of was the team – they appreciated that the staff treated them as equal colleagues, always helping and advising them. Some admitted that time flies when they’re here.

We enjoy collaborating with schools and are delighted that this long-term partnership works so well for both sides. The students gain practical experience in a real manufacturing environment, whilst we, in turn, gain energy and a fresh perspective from young people who are interested in the field.

For over 30 years, we have been passing on real-world manufacturing experience to young engineering students. We show them that working in engineering is not only interesting and varied, but above all – that it’s fun! In this way, we strive to nurture a young generation of enthusiastic engineers who will shape the future of Czech engineering!
