We have successfully manufactured a massive stainless steel component that has gone down in the history of our production.
For a food processing machine, we manufactured a massive stainless steel part that started out as a block weighing over 2 tons – which, to give you an idea, is roughly equivalent to the weight of a large SUV.
The entire machining process was carried out on a gantry center. The finished part weighs 916 kg.
On this two-meter part, we combined large-format machining with the accuracy and precision that is crucial for the food sector.
