Another series of precision-engineered components has been produced in our small-batch manufacturing department for a high-capacity beverage filling line with an output exceeding 1 million cans per day.
The component is manufactured from an aluminium alloy entirely on a DMU 60 eVo 5-axis CNC machining centre. Machining is carried out in two set-ups, allowing the required geometric accuracy to be achieved while maintaining an efficient production cycle time.

For components of this type, the key requirements are process repeatability, process stability and consistent quality throughout the entire production batch. These requirements are typical for components used in packaging and filling technologies, where high demands are placed on dimensional accuracy and operational reliability.
